Keto Dinner, Meal #2: Turkey Burger with Avocado Salad and Blueberries

Day 1: Dinner and Meal #2

This burger is soooooo good! Apologies for the shadowy photo! My evening photos are not going to be as perfect.

Turkey Burger

8 oz. ground turkey meat (makes 2 patties so I save one for another meal)

2 teaspoons of whole grain mustard


Cayenne pepper

Himalayan pink salt

Sautéed zucchini (1/2), red onion (a few slices then dice) and turkey bacon (1 strip diced)

1 slice of American cheese

1 dollop of mayonnaise

1 Tablespoon of coconut cream

Avocado Salad

I topped with salt.


In a small saucepan place your coconut cream or ghee and melt on medium heat. Sauté onion and zucchini for about 8-10 minutes until golden. Add in turkey bacon and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Place in a bowl with raw turkey meat. Add spices and mustard then form into 2 patties. To cook your turkey patty I find that covering the sauté pan helps to cook it all the way through. I flip my patty when a good portion of the bottom is cooked. Once you flip you can add cheese and cover. Dollop of mayonnaise once you plate.
